We collaborate, at a local and national level, with a wide range of stakeholders in the development of sustainable technical and professional education to enable a transformation of the productive capacity of the UK economy.

  2. Thought leadership in the areas of professional and technical skills, policy implementation and sector funding.
  3. Providing employability and corporate training services to all sectors.
  4. Providing learning environments which support enhanced technical, professional, and other skills.
  5. Taking a leading role in shaping the future skills needs to ensure the long-term economic capacity of the UK economy.

Key purposes of role

  1. To contribute to the achievement of the Collab Group’s strategic objectives, assuming responsibility for supporting the Collab Group Commercial team to achieve business line objectives.
  2. To provide project management assistance with respect to developing proposals, tender submissions, and contract commitments.
  3. To build collaborative relationships with employers, partners and Government departments to further revenues for both Collab Group and our member colleges.
  4. To manage a pool of commercial partners and ensure that our member colleges are seeing the value of their solutions.

Key accountabilities

  1. Work as part of a small but highly motivated, focussed commercial sales team, selling innovative skills solutions.
  2. Responsible for collating information, writing, and managing procurement projects
  3. Assisting the account management process for partners and employers
  4. To work with Commercial Director to streamline administration task and manage records on Salesforce

We offer a competitive package based on experience, that includes a base salary, bonus incentives, and a generous pension contribution. Person Specification


  1. Minimum of 1 year experience working in business development, projects, programme management.
  2. Outstanding team-working skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and to communicate effectively.
  3. Effective management of time and diary to ensure KPI achievement.
  4. Clear and accurate record-keeping within a recognised CRM system (preferably Salesforce).
  5. A desire to work in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and deadlines.
  6. Willing to go over and above and put the extra hours in to support colleagues.


  1. Knowledge of the education or training arena
  2. Understanding of Government processes and an interest in policy or education

Job title: Junior Account Manager

Reports to: Commercial Director

Terms of employment: Permanent appointment /full time

Salary: £21,000 + Bonus + 8% pension contribution

Location: Central London
