Collab Group and Leadership Through Sport & Business Announce Education Partnership

The Collab Group of Colleges is delighted to announce their latest Education Partnership with Leadership Through Sport & Business (LTSB).

LTSB is a national social mobility charity working with bright, ambitious young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, preparing and providing them with access to careers in business and finance. Through intensive training and partnership with blue-chip companies and elite football foundations, LTSB’s life-changing apprenticeship programme develops young people personally and professionally, and better prepares them for the business world.

The partnership will allow Collab Group to work with LTSB to extend their programmes in to Collab Group Colleges.

The partnership creates a platform for collaboration around shared issues, particularly around social mobility and core employability skills. We look forward to introducing our colleges to the valuable initiatives of LTSB and working together to support learners across the UK.

Ian Pretty, Collab Group CEO said: “I am delighted that Collab Group has formed a partnership with Leadership Through Sport to explore collectively designed courses that will give learners comprehensive, employability and work readiness skills. Employability skills are crucial for young people to succeed, and Leadership Through Sport has created an innovative approach that prepares young people for the world of work through positive and inspiring experiences. I am excited about the opportunities to work together.”

Caroline Adair, LTSB CEO said: “LTSB has a exemplary record with Collab colleges Newham and College of Haringey Enfield and North East London, and we’re excited to expand this partnership and ensure that more young people from disadvantaged backgrounds can find positions equal to their ambition and ability. Education is vital to social mobility, and the expertise and commitment of the Collab Group staff ensure that our young people have the best foundation for life-changing careers.”
